“Gezellig”is a Dutch word that means cozy, quaint, and friendly environment, the exact feeling owner Lauren wanted to create when she opened Gezellig Salon & Head Spa in the heart of Ardmore.
Inspired by her family roots in the Netherlands, Lauren fell in love with the cozy, connected feeling that “Gezellig” represents — and built a salon that brings that same energy to life. A calm, welcoming escape where confidence, creativity, and connection all come together.
For our guests, Gezellig is your place to unwind , filled with effortless style, genuine conversation, and hair that feels healthy, shiny, and full of life.
For our stylists, it’s a home base for growth, a space where artists are supported, educated, and empowered to build their dream careers through
collaboration, not competition.

Lauren is the owner of Gezellig Salon + Head Spa and has been in the industry for over 10 years. She values building meaningful relationships with her clients and creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and cozy. She’s passionate about evolving her business, takes pride in every detail of the work, and loves educating other stylists on success and head spa training. Outside of the salon, she’s very close with her family.
Juliana
Social Media Administratior
Samantha has had a love for the beauty industry for almost 10 years and brings that passion into every appointment. She loves connecting with her clients (especially over reality TV chats), while creating beautiful custom color and extensions. She’s known for her signature curls and tinsel, adding that extra touch of fun to her work. Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her husband and her fur baby, Bentley.
